Our Commitment to Privacy:

At Pikes Peak Mortgage, we understand that by applying for a loan with our company, you are entrusting us with your sensitive, personal and financial information. In return for this trust, we believe that it is our responsibility to provide our customers with the highest level of confidentiality and security. Pikes Peak Mortgage does NOT sell nonpublic personal or financial information to ANYONE. We hope that this notice will help you be aware of the type of information we may collect from you, and how we use it.

The Information We May Collect:

Pikes Peak Mortgage only collects the personal and financial information we need to find a loan program that suits your needs. If you chose to apply to be pre-qualified for a mortgage using this web site, you will be asked to provide the following types of information:

Full name
Social Security Number
Current home address
Subject property address
E-mail address
Home and business phone numbers
 Employment information
Income
Liabilities
Assets
Marital status
Years of schooling
Dependents

The Way We Use Your Personal and Financial Information:

After you have submitted a loan application on this web site, we will review the information you have provided and start looking for loan programs and interest rates that will help you achieve what you wish to accomplish by obtaining a home mortgage. We will use the return e-mail addresses and/or phone numbers to contact you after we have reviewed your application. Such addresses and phone numbers are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.

One of the most important factors in pre-qualifying for a mortgage is your credit report. However, we will not use your social security number to pull your credit until we have spoken to you and received a verbal or written authorization. Please be advised that having too many credit inquiries can have a negative affect on your overall credit score. So, it is better to choose which mortgage company you wish to use and THEN have them pull your credit. If you authorize us to pull your credit report, it is necessary to share your social security number, name, address, and employment information with a credit-reporting bureau. We WILL NOT share your information this way, unless you request a report and your credit history will ONLY used to pre-qualify you for a mortgage.

It is important to understand that ALL of the information you provide on your loan application MUST be third-party verified. Pikes Peak Mortgage may share your personal and financial information with authorized service providers, who help us to verify your information and process your loan. Examples of authorized service providers that we work with include, but are not limited to, the following:

Credit agencies
Title and escrow companies
Appraisal companies
Mortgage insurance companies
 Flood and hazard insurance companies
Wholesale investors and lenders
Surveying companies

Pikes Peak Mortgage may also need to contact your employer and/or your bank to obtain proof of income and reported assets. These authorized companies are legally obligated to maintain the confidentiality of the information we provide to them. We will only share your information with the above-mentioned companies for the purpose of evaluating, processing, and servicing your loan.
